Bridgette Howell performs at Alabama Dance Festival

Bridgette Howell of Dothan was among a group of Troy University dance students who recently performed at the Alabama Dance Festival.

Students performed seven pieces in the annual New Works Concert, which offers emerging choreographers the chance to present their work in a professional performance. While attending the festival, students auditioned for multiple summer programs across the nation, including professional companies such as Joffrey Jazz, Contra-Tiempo, Dance Theatre of Harlem, American Dance Festival and Jacob's Pillow, resulting in a multitude of scholarship opportunities.
