Chanda Hawthorne honored at Kennedy Center regional conference

Chanda Hawthorne of Jay, FL, attended the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Region IV conference on behalf of Troy University Department of Theatre and Dance.

Held Feb. 7-12 in Statesboro, Ga., the conference brings together students from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Southern Virginia, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

After the week of events, Troy University students were singled out for awards and recognition.

Hawthorne was a National Costume Design Nominee for Flyin' West.
