Chanda Hawthorne takes part in TROY Theatre production of "Flyin' West"

Chanda Hawthorne of Jay, FL, recently took part in a production of the show "Flyin' West," presented by the Troy University Department of Theatre and Dance Sept. 29-Oct. 1 at the Trojan Center Theater on the Troy Campus.

Hawthorne served as Costume Designer.

"Flyin' West," written by Pearl Cleage and directed by Quinton Cockrell, is set in 1898 Kansas and tells the inspirational story of four African-American women who migrate westward to become landowning farmers.
