Jordyn Elston wins Steven B. Padgett Journalism and Communication Award at Troy University

Jordyn Elston of Birmingham , Alabama, was among the students recognized for outstanding achievements in academics, leadership and service during Troy University's annual Honors Convocation.

Elston received the Steven B. Padgett Journalism and Communication Award.

Elston is a Senior Broadcast Journalism major.

The Honors Convocation was held on Monday, April 17, at the Troy Campus with Dr. John W. Schmidt, a former Troy University senior administrator, serving as keynote speaker.
