Lacey Alexander honored at Kennedy Center regional conference

Lacey Alexander of Morris, AL, attended the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Region IV conference on behalf of Troy University Department of Theatre and Dance.

Held Feb. 7-12 in Statesboro, Ga., the conference brings together students from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Southern Virginia, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

After the week of events, Troy University students were singled out for awards and recognition.

Alexander was recognized for Playwriting and Directing, with a 10-minute play selected at the Regional Level for National Playwriting Program (NPP) .
