Morgan Tew of Eclectic participated in Troy University's MLK Week of Service.

Morgan Tew of Eclectic, AL was one of more than 40 students who helped in their community by participating in the 2016 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Week of Service.

Activities during the week kicked off Tuesday, Jan. 19.

"Including our students in service projects is a way of honoring the service legacy of Dr. King," said Jonathan Cellon, Coordinator of Service Learning and Civic Engagement in TROY's Schmidt Center for Student Success. "These projects give students an opportunity to address some of our community's critical needs while also learning the importance of serving others."
