Rachel Carter named to Troy University Freshman Forum

Rachel Carter of Athens, AL, has been named to the Freshman Forum at Troy University for the 2015-2016 academic year.

The Freshman Forum is a branch of the Student Government Association specifically for incoming college freshmen and members serve as representatives for the freshman class.

Freshman Forum is one of the most selective groups at Troy University. Each fall, about 50 freshmen are chosen via an interview and application process and later placed into one of five committees: Campus Involvement & Events, Community Service, Trojan Pride & Traditions, Finance and Publicity. Members learn how to run meetings using parliamentary procedure, have their voices heard on campus and give back to the TROY community in the same manner as the SGA.
