The Troy University Sorrell College of Business and School of Accountancy celebrated Accountancy Day on September 9. The ceremony honored students as well as provided 19 scholarships for students in the program.

On February 20, TROY alumnus and entrepreneur Jeff Koch held a seminar for the Sorrell College of Business. He spoke on his experience and challenges in the food service industry and focused on the operation of a business format franchise."

Students in Dr. Lane Boyt-Eckis' ECO 2251 class welcomed Susan Parrish, the TANF Supervisor with Geneva County DHR. Parrish spoke to the students about how economic fluctuations affect the level of cases at DHR; essentially the mental and societal well-being and its connection to economic growth and development.
