More than 30 members of Troy University's Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity will walk nearly 130 miles from the Troy Campus to Panama City Beach, Fla., in support of wounded veterans.

Troy University is pleased to recognize Foundation Scholarship recipients for the 2020/2021 academic year. The TROY Foundation provides stewardship for a number of scholarships which are established through the generosity of private donors to assist TROY students in their educational pursuits.

Students in the program must complete 18 hours of academic credit, professional development, and 50 service hours through Troy's Civic Engagement program. Upon completion of the program, the students receive a certificate from the Peace Corps as well as a competitive edge when applying for Peace Corps service.

Troy University students voted to select five seniors and three sophomores to represent the student body as the Homecoming Court during TROY's homecoming game on Oct. 24.

Twenty-two students have been selected to participate in the Sorrell College of Business Student Advisory Council for the 2020-21 year. The students' input will serve as a steering mechanism to help the student experience within the Sorrell College.

The Troy University Sorrell College of Business and School of Accountancy celebrated Accountancy Day on September 10. The ceremony honored students as well as provided 19 scholarships for students in the program.

Troy University's Department of Theatre and Dance presented its annual spring performance, "VIBE". The production, which features 55 student dancers and eight choreographers, premieres seven dynamic works seamlessly connected through the explosive energy of continuous, athletic movement. The show ran Feb 20-23 in the Trojan Center Theater.
