Troy University recognized students for outstanding achievements in academics, leadership and service during a Virtual Honors Week April 20-24, replacing the annual Honors Convocation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Troy University is pleased to recognize students who will serve as Student Government Association officers following an election at the Troy Campus.

Troy University's Department of Theatre and Dance presented its annual spring performance, "VIBE". The production, which features 55 student dancers and eight choreographers, premieres seven dynamic works seamlessly connected through the explosive energy of continuous, athletic movement. The show ran Feb 20-23 in the Trojan Center Theater.

Troy University's Department of Theatre and Dance presented its annual fall dance, "Art in Motion: Moving Pictures," in October. The production, which featured 69 dancers and 11 choreographers, took place Oct. 24-27.

The Troy University Sorrell College of Business and School of Accountancy celebrated Accountancy Day on September 5. The ceremony honored students, alumni as well as inducted two members into the Troy Accounting Hall of Honor.

Troy University is pleased to recognize the new members of Freshman Forum for the 2019-2020 academic year. The Freshman Forum is a branch of the Student Government Association specifically for incoming college freshmen and members serve as representatives for the freshman class.

Troy University's Department of Theatre and Dance recently performed Eurydice. A cast of eight students performed "Eurydice' by Sarah Ruhl, a contemporary retelling of the ancient Greek myth. The fall show was presented Sept. 26-27 and Sept. 29 in the Trojan Center Theater.

Troy University is proud to recognize new members of the "Sound of the South" Marching Band who joined during the Fall 2019 semester.

More than 200 Troy University students studied around the world during the summer semester in 2019. Students studied in various programs on four continents in nearly 20 different countries to earn academic credit as well gain international awareness.

On February 20, TROY alumnus and entrepreneur Jeff Koch held a seminar for the Sorrell College of Business. He spoke on his experience and challenges in the food service industry and focused on the operation of a business format franchise."

On April 22, the Dothan Campus Sorrell College of Business Rotaract Club participated with the Dothan Campus Earth Day activities.

On May 2, TROY University's Sorrell College of Business played host to the third annual Youth Business Summit on the Dothan Campus. It was an all-day event attended by multiple students and teachers from many different high schools.

Troy University is pleased to recognize new students who have completed IMPACT orientation and enrolled in classes for the Fall 2019 semester.

Troy University's Department of Theatre and Dance showed off students' work and ideas with a performance of "The Seagull." A cast of 12 performed the comedy as well as other duties such as set design and technical elements. The show was April 4 in the Malone Blackbox.
