Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for 12 semester hours and who earn a grade point average of 4.0 qualify for the Chancellor's List. Troy University's Department of Theatre and Dance recently performed Eurydice. A cast of eight students performed "Eurydice' by Sarah Ruhl, a contemporary retelling of the ancient Greek myth. The fall show was presented Sept. 26-27 and Sept. 29 in the Trojan Center Theater.

Troy University is pleased to recognize the new members of Freshman Forum for the 2019-2020 academic year. The Freshman Forum is a branch of the Student Government Association specifically for incoming college freshmen and members serve as representatives for the freshman class.

Troy University is proud to recognize new members of the "Sound of the South" Marching Band who joined during the Fall 2019 semester.

The Troy University Sorrell College of Business and School of Accountancy celebrated Accountancy Day on September 5. The ceremony honored students, alumni as well as inducted two members into the Troy Accounting Hall of Honor.

More than 200 Troy University students studied around the world during the summer semester in 2019. Students studied in various programs on four continents in nearly 20 different countries to earn academic credit as well gain international awareness.

On February 20, TROY alumnus and entrepreneur Jeff Koch held a seminar for the Sorrell College of Business. He spoke on his experience and challenges in the food service industry and focused on the operation of a business format franchise."

On April 22, the Dothan Campus Sorrell College of Business Rotaract Club participated with the Dothan Campus Earth Day activities.

On May 2, TROY University's Sorrell College of Business played host to the third annual Youth Business Summit on the Dothan Campus. It was an all-day event attended by multiple students and teachers from many different high schools.

Troy University is pleased to recognize new students who have completed IMPACT orientation and enrolled in classes for the Fall 2019 semester.

Troy University's Department of Theatre and Dance showed off students' work and ideas with a performance of "The Seagull." A cast of 12 performed the comedy as well as other duties such as set design and technical elements. The show was April 4 in the Malone Blackbox.

Fourteen students have been chosen to serve as the 2019 IMPACT Leaders at Troy University.

These students were the winners of the Troy University Student Research Conference. The conference took place in April.

Troy University recognized students for outstanding achievements in academics, leadership and service during the annual Honors Convocation at the Phenix City Campus.

Troy University is proud to recognize the members of the M.I.S.S. Elite Society for the 2018-2019 academic year. The M.I.S.S. Elite Society is dedicated to Motivating and Instilling Sophisticated Students into an Elite Society. Their goal is to motivate female students into being more civic-minded citizens and to empower women to hold themselves to a higher standard.

Troy University inducted 20 students into Beta Gamma Sigma during the Sorrell College of Business honors luncheon in April. Founded in 1913, Beta Gamma Sigma is the international business honor society for AACSB-accredited schools, which are the top 5% of business school programs around the world.

Troy University is proud to recognize the inductees of the National Society of Leadership and Succes. This is the charter group of members into the TROY chapter of the NSLS. The NSLS is the nation's largest leadership honor society. Students are selected by their college for membership based on either academic standing or leadership potential. Candidacy is a nationally recognized achievement of honorable distinction.

Troy University is pleased to recognize students who will serve as 2019-20 Student Government Association Senators at the Troy Campus.

The Sorrell College of Business recently held a luncheon to honor students for their work in the classroom.

Troy University's Dothan Campus Rotaract Club members assist with Earth Day 2019. Monday, April 22, 2019, the Rotaract volunteers met with high school students and spoke with them about careers in Business.
