Troy University recognized students for outstanding achievements in academics, leadership and service during the annual Honors Convocation at the Phenix City Campus.

Troy University inducted 20 students into Beta Gamma Sigma during the Sorrell College of Business honors luncheon in April. Founded in 1913, Beta Gamma Sigma is the international business honor society for AACSB-accredited schools, which are the top 5% of business school programs around the world.

Troy University is proud to recognize the members of the M.I.S.S. Elite Society for the 2018-2019 academic year. The M.I.S.S. Elite Society is dedicated to Motivating and Instilling Sophisticated Students into an Elite Society. Their goal is to motivate female students into being more civic-minded citizens and to empower women to hold themselves to a higher standard.

Troy University is proud to recognize the inductees of the National Society of Leadership and Succes. This is the charter group of members into the TROY chapter of the NSLS. The NSLS is the nation's largest leadership honor society. Students are selected by their college for membership based on either academic standing or leadership potential. Candidacy is a nationally recognized achievement of honorable distinction.

Troy University's Department of Theatre and Dance celebrated 10 years of its program with a show titled "Together We" in February. About 70 students and alumni participated in "Together We," a performance that takes place in conjunction with TROY's annual Day of Dance, in which dance students participate in masterclasses with professional working dance alumni. The show ran Feb. 21-23 and Feb. 24.

Troy University's Department of Theatre and Dance presented its Fall Dance show in November. About 70 students participated in "Art in Motion," a collaborative effort that stemmed from the inspiration of both artists and dancers as they worked alongside one another to create a unique dance concert. The show ran Nov. 8-11 and included an art display that ran through Nov. 14.
